About The Artist

A Minneapolis based artist, Michaela used art as a means to travel the world in her early twenties. Acrylic being her typical medium, her style ranges from realism, to impressionist, to abstract-whimsical. You can see her murals and canvases at various areas of the world, including a backpacker's hostel in Malawi, in schools across Uganda, and more locally, in restaurants around Minneapolis. She finds her inspiration from travel, nature, and the simple things in life.
